I don't have a lot to say about this movie, except that it was GREAT. Loved Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton together. Their flirtation drove me crazy in a good way. Alfred Molina was hysterical, as were the ostriches which I couldn't stop laughing about. This was just a normal Jerry Bruckheimer action movie, and I'm not ashamed to say I shamelessly enjoyed every moment! It's fraught with charm, sexual tension, great hair, action, and biceps. Definitely a light-hearted summer movie to get us started this season.
Kevin: I liked it a lot, but something was missing to make it really stand out I felt. Still, had a lot of fun, but if we're to compare it to other similar films, I'd say it's missing a Jack Sparrow, if that makes sense.
Audree: Haha no. Jake and his biceps were enough for me.
Kevin: Lolz yeah that dude got buff as hell.

Gemma Arterton and Jaek Gyllenhaal had great comic timing together, but I never really bought their chemistry as a romantic couple. It just didn't click, but that's just me. Gemma was much better here than in Clash of the Titans, but I'm overall still not very impressed with her as an actress. She made for a lovely Bond girl in Quantum of Solace, but I'm still taking a "show me don't tell me" attitude about her acting in general. She is gorgeous and adorable, but I'm not convinced just yet.
Jake was great, and proved himself a very capable action hero leading man.
Very fun movie, but if anything I felt it was simply lacking in something truly spectacular to make it stand out more.
I thought their chemistry was DELICIOUS! I hope they do more!
