In fact, aside from the first 30 minutes and the "Snape's Memories" sequence, I had a lot of problems with it.RosiePhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11217705824689269830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3654618798660691999.post-59665999971712385652011-12-11T21:17:05.293-06:002011-12-11T21:17:05.293-06:00Awe Hicks! I first read the books and saw the first film when I was 8 years old... that final scene at King's Cross with the trio and their children and 'Leaving Hogwarts' from the first movie playing in the background... it just brought it all back. I have never ever felt so strongly about a series before, but I know Harry will always be with me, in here. *points to heart*. Thank you for writing this. :')Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16750288121451127564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3654618798660691999.post-1266536370452269442011-08-04T14:15:26.167-05:002011-08-04T14:15:26.167-05:00I love you Ashlie! And I would comment, but I ...Agree with everything. And I would comment, but I experience all of this with you so you already know how I feel. And I HEARTILY agree with feeling SO very lucky that we were alive at the perfect time to enjoy this in the way we did. There couldn't be any better way. It just wouldn't be the same. I can't wait to share this with our kids one day too. I hope movies and entertainment haven't changed SO much that they can't experience it and enjoy it as much as we do, or at least in a way that they get it. Ughhhhhhhh I need to go watch it again!! And re-read the books like tomorrow. Forever crying.Ashlienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3654618798660691999.post-14138162416359800782011-08-01T21:17:11.332-05:002011-08-01T21:17:11.332-05:00Thank you, everyone for your comments! I was just wondering where does this statement comes from. I couldn't find it anywhere in Deathly Hallows, but I'm pretty sure it was written somewhere. Does it mentioned in any interviews of J.K. I still haven't seen the movie, because I just haven't had the time/babysitting. But more than anything, I want to read the series again. And to think, I have plenty of time tomorrow... but so many other films I want to see! Ugh. Seriously, great job. I would probably have added some different things if I were to write a response, but you really nailed the feel of the film and why it would be so important/emotional for someone who stayed with the books and loved the books, especially a Snape fan. Lily's eyes keep changing, from one actress to another, and they are nothing like Daniel's. And young James Potter ... I didn't even realize who it was until i saw the movie a second time. He looks nothing like James. I was really looking forward this scene, and it kinda ruined the moment for me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3654618798660691999.post-87188657685115639242011-07-29T21:33:28.963-05:002011-07-29T21:33:28.963-05:00Well, you pretty much wrote everything that I feel...Well, you pretty much wrote everything that I feel about this movie. <3 Lovely, lovely response.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
